Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood--two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. |
He overlaid it with pure gold, both inside and out, and made a gold molding around it. |
He cast four gold rings for it and fastened them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other. |
Then he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. |
And he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it. |
He made the atonement cover of pure gold--two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. |
Then he made two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover. |
He made one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; at the two ends he made them of one piece with the cover. |
The cherubim had their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim faced each other, looking toward the cover. |
They made the table of acacia wood--two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. |
Then they overlaid it with pure gold and made a gold molding around it. |
They also made around it a rim a handbreadth wide and put a gold molding on the rim. |
They cast four gold rings for the table and fastened them to the four corners, where the four legs were. |
The rings were put close to the rim to hold the poles used in carrying the table. |
The poles for carrying the table were made of acacia wood and were overlaid with gold. |
And they made from pure gold the articles for the table--its plates and dishes and bowls and its pitchers for the pouring out of drink offerings. |
They made the lampstand of pure gold and hammered it out, base and shaft; its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms were of one piece with it. |
Six branches extended from the sides of the lampstand--three on one side and three on the other. |
Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms were on one branch, three on the next branch and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand. |
And on the lampstand were four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms. |
One bud was under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair--six branches in all. |
The buds and the branches were all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold. |
They made its seven lamps, as well as its wick trimmers and trays, of pure gold. |
They made the lampstand and all its accessories from one talent of pure gold. |
They made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high--its horns of one piece with it. |
They overlaid the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and made a gold molding around it. |
They made two gold rings below the molding--two on opposite sides--to hold the poles used to carry it. |
They made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. |
They also made the sacred anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense--the work of a perfumer. |

出 37:1> 比撒列造的柜是──
37:1 法柜(又称为约柜)里面有两块石版,上面刻有神的十条诫命,它预表神与祂的百姓立约。用金子锤成的两个基路伯放在柜子的盖上。法柜是以色列人最神圣的器物,放在会幕的至圣所中。大祭司每年只能进入至圣所一次,在约柜(又称为施恩座)上面洒血,为以色列全族赎罪。──《灵修版圣经注释》

会幕圣物(三十七 1 ~ 29 )
.约价( 1 ~ 9 )
1. 物料:以精金里外包裹皂筴木,表明主耶稣的完全圣洁。而精金及皂筴木料表明基督耶稣兼备神人二性。
2. 金牙边:乃显明约柜含有防守真理之效能。
3. 杠子:乃代表主耶稣担负一切重担。
4. 金环:环在柜的脚上,使抬柜时,柜可高过人头,这是表明高举基督为万有之首。
5. 施恩座上有二基路伯:乃代表神的荣耀和恩典,并与以色列人同在。
.桌子( 10 ~ 16 )
1. 物料:与约柜一样。
2. 面积:长宽不及约柜,但高度相等。这表明听见救恩的人多,但得救与主同坐席的人少。
3. 金牙边:为了美观,且为免陈设饼掉下而设。这表明主的荣耀及保守。
4. 环与杠子:表示桌的祭司要分别为圣与主交通。
.灯台( 17 ~ 24 )
是由一块金子锤出来的,有杯、球、花等图案,并杈出六个枝子。一块金子所锤表示合一;图案表明基督荣光之灿烂;七枝灯盏表示基督的光是完全的。
.香坛( 25 ~ 29 )
象征子民的祈祷直达神面前(参路一 10 ;诗一四一 2 )。

1-29 造会幕内的各样圣物
1-9 造约柜(参25:10-22)
10-16 造桌子 (参 25:23-30)。
这段的记载与前段极为相似,只是本处没有提到陈设饼,直到 40:23 才提及。
17-24 造灯台(参25:31-40)
25-28 造香坛 (参 30:1-10)。
这段没有提及赎罪日的仪式,理由是利 16章有详细的记载。
29 造香及圣膏油 (参 30:22-28)。
前一段用较长的篇幅形容这两类圣物,现在却简化为一节。
思想问题(第 37章)
1 日後以色列民与非利士人争战时,往往把约柜也带到战场,以为神因此必定亲自为他们争战,不过,约柜曾被掳走了。
今天我们有否把圣经、十字架饰物等看为吉祥物,以为只要手拿这些物件,便一定蒙神赐福,能解决万难呢?
2 本章记载会幕内的物件多备有扛,以便搬抬。
这样设计有什麽好处呢?
在今日变动的社会中,你的信仰是否随伴着你,随时指引你、安慰你?
3 金灯台的设计相当复杂,除了照明之外,是否还有其他作用?
有人说今日的教堂应有一流的艺术设计才配得起神。

会幕器具的制造(卅七 1-9 )
关于本段的注释,参看廿五章十至廿二节,廿三至廿九节,卅一至卅九节;三十章一至五节,廿三至卅五节。详细的重复在古代文献中比较近代出版物为少,其意义乃含有指示严格遵办。──《每日研经丛书》
7.约柜(三七1~5)
以色列人一进入会幕的院子,首先见到的就是燔祭坛。祭司按常规为他们在这里献祭。这祭坛明显地放在这里,提醒他们,只有藉着献祭才能来到神面前。这也是使他们的罪得赦、过犯得以除去的惟一方法。希伯来书中说耶稣基督是最后的献祭,为人一次到永远地赎了罪,之后就不用再为罪献祭了。(参来十1~18)
约柜是皂荚木作的箱子,里外包上精金,这是指主的人性和神性。里面有法版、装有吗哪的金罐、亚伦的杖(这杖发了芽)。若应用在基督身上,这些东西便是预表他自己,如诗人所说:“你的律法在我心里。”(诗四O8下);神的粮从天上降下来(约六33);是神所拣选、死而复活的大祭司(来七24~26)。若应用在以色列人身上,便是一切失败和叛逆的记号。
8.施恩座(三七6~9)
施恩座是神的宝座,是他居住地上的地方。金基路伯俯视施恩座,却看不见律法(以色列人曾违反律法)。也看不见吗哪罐和亚伦的杖,二者都与以色列人的叛逆有关。相反,他们看见洒下的血,这血让神用怜悯对待叛逆的罪人。施恩座预表基督,是“神设立……的挽回祭”(罗三25,直译)……施恩座就是约柜的盖子。
9.陈设饼的桌子(三七10~16)
陈设饼的桌子上有十二块饼。“预表以色列人接受基督,在神面前的地位。基督就是真正的亚伦,他叫以色列人现在也可到神面前来。”饼也许说出神供应十二支派的每一个。
10.金灯台及其附件(三七17~24)
有人认为精金制的灯台是基督的预表。表示基督是世界的真光(约八12)。也有人认为它是指圣灵;圣灵的工作就是荣耀基督。因为它把圣所里关于基督的事阐明出来。此外,还有人认为灯台预表基督与信徒相连。中间的干是独一无二的,因为其余六个枝子从两旁杈出来,每边三个枝子。这些枝子全都只是用一块金制成的。
11.香坛(三七25~28)
香坛说出基督成为神永远的香气,也表示主耶稣为我们在天上代求。
12.膏油和香(三七29)
膏油预表圣灵,香说出主永远完美的香气,叫他的父神喜悦。

三十七 1 ~三十八 20. 器具的制造
本段的安排和前面经文(出二十五 31 )不同,而是依照建筑工程的自然次序。譬如首先建筑帐幕,才制造其中的器皿。经文一起讨论香坛和帐幕内部的其他物件;洗濯盆是户外大院的陈设,本段亦一起讨论。以上两件物件在前面经文都是三十章分离出来的附记。最后,香和香坛同时讨论也很合宜,在前面经文中香是位于补编。这一切都显出材料经过小心而有系统的重整,并非无意识的重复。
三十七 1. 比撒列作柜 。本节和形容摩西作柜子的申命记十章 3 节并无冲突(该节的意思是“摩西使人作柜子”)。出埃及记完全没有提到摩西本人有制造工艺品的能力和技巧。──《丁道尔圣经注释》
